5-Day Club Activity

5-Day Club Activity

Child Evangelism Fellowship® is the world's largest mission agency to children, reaching over 8 million kids around the globe every year! CEF® of Linn County works with local churches, schools, and communities to bring outreach ministries like Good News Club, Christian Youth In Action®, 5-Day Club® (including VBS), Fair Ministry, and more to kids in the Willamette Valley so they are able to hear and understand how to receive Christ and grow in their faith.

Covid-19 Update

Due to changes in public school class scheduling this year, CEF of Linn County is looking at several new and creative ways to continue bringing our ministries to the children of Linn County. This includes Good News Club® — or "Hub Clubs" — where one facility hosts several school clubs from last year. To find out more about attending, hosting, or helping with these clubs, please contact us. We will observe wearing masks, having hand sanitizer, and social distancing at each club. We will continue to update this information on our website as it develops.

We are still having our weekly prayer meeting at the office every Friday from 10:00-11:00am, observing all current Covid-19 guidelines.

Good News Clubs

From the beginning, the Good News Club has been at the heart of CEF ministry. Whether it's an Early-Release Wednesday club at your local public school or a 5-day summer club with your friends and neighbors at a nearby park, we love our clubs! At clubs, children learn Bible verses, sing songs, listen to missionary stories, participate in exciting games and activities, and hear the Gospel clearly presented. Our teachers are thoroughly vetted and attend regular teacher training classes.

Christian Youth in Action

Christian Youth In Action® (CYIA) is a summer missions program developed and run by CEF staff and volunteers. CYIA is a week-long training school where teens learn how to effectively share the Gospel and lead others to Christ; teach the Gospel through Bible lessons, verses, and songs; excite children about missionary work; and maintain classroom discipline. Students will also grow in their knowledge, wisdom, passion, boldness, and courage for Jesus Christ as well as learn what it means to be a Godly leader and example.

Fair Ministry

At state and county fairs across the nation, CEF workers share the Gospel with children, teens, and adults using Wordless Books, tracts, face painting, ballooning, and other creative tools.
